Electric powertrain expert (m/f/d)

Develop virtual sensors and wear estimators especially for electric powertrain and batteries for customers or internal R&D purposes. Be an actor of the changes in the mobility sector by creating new insights driven by the data and the physical understanding of the electric systems.

Your responsibilities

As an expert in electric vehicles (EVs) and batteries, you develop virtual sensors and wear estimators especially for electric powertrain and batteries for customers or internal R&D purposes. You will be an actor of the transformation in the mobility sector by creating new insights driven by the data and the physical understanding of the electric systems.

Technical requirements

  • Graduation in electrotechnics, mechatronics, mechanical engineering or similar education

  • Expertise in electric vehicle powertrain (engine, inverter, BMS) and battery technologies

  • Experience with physical modelling and system-based approaches

  • Knowledge of data science (signal processing, filtering, AI-based approaches, …)

  • Programming languages Matlab/Simulink and Python

  • Knowledge about durability, damage and wear theory will be highly appreciated
