Data Architect / Big Data Engineer (m/f/d)

Job description

Your task will be to build, manage and optimize data systems. Furthermore, you will work closely with developers and data scientists to build a robust data storage schema, build ETL jobs to direct the flow of data within the pipeline and ensure consistency of data delivery across multiple projects.


Your responsibilities

  • Build and manage data lakes including ingestion, transformation, and cataloguing    
  • Work closely with other developers to build ETL jobs suited for the given application   
  • Be always eager to improve the data hierarchy across all the organization’s data systems


Our requirements

Technical

  • Graduation in Computer Science or a similar education
  • Experience working with and extracting value from large, unstructured, and disconnected datasets
  • Knowledge working with relational databases and NoSQL
  • Knowledge building and optimizing big data architecture and pipelines
  • Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement
  • DevOps skills (Bonus)


Furthermore, you bring knowledge in the following tools and technologies:

  • Comfortable in using at least one of the standard big data ecosystems (such as Hadoop, Spark, Presto, Hive)
  • Comfortable in using databases (such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server)
  • Comfortable in using at least one of the standard Data Warehouses (such as Redshift, Teradata, Vertica)
  • Object-oriented/scripting languages such as Python, Java

We are looking for a DevOps engineer capable to design, implement and oversee the IT infrastructure in compliance with the architecture roadmap. The key principles for our solutions are that everything is automated, encrypted, monitored, and provided as code. In order to follow these principles, you will establish the appropriate DevOps patterns for the development, deployment and maintenance of existing & new infrastructure services. Therefore, you will leverage managed cloud solutions & platform services wherever it is possible.


Your responsibilities

  • Design and implement production clusters for our services
  • Containerize services based on best practices
  • Build CI/CD pipelines
  • Document solutions and communicate to the users
  • Support in development of Django webapp (Bonus)


Our requirements

Technical

Your responsibilities

We are looking for an engineer to extend our domain expert team, which deals with the automatic design of virtual sensors and the development of analytics tools for the automotive sector. You will use your system understanding to this. Besides customer projects, you will be also involved in internal R&D projects and in the implementation of our software on our cloud platform.


Our requirements

Technical:

  • Graduation in electronics, mechatronics, mechanical engineering or similar education
  • Experience with signal processing for timeseries in time and frequency domain
  • Experience with physical modelling and system-based approaches
  • Experience with Matlab/Simulink
  • Experience with Python will be highly appreciated

Your responsibilities

As a working student for Web Programming you will be responsible for automating services for the company starting with the development of an automated reporting process merging the accounting system Datev and the CRM Pipedrive. You will connect the systems via API with Power BI to generate a monthly report that cointegrates the information from both sources. Once the task is finished, you will work on further automization projects.


Our requirements

Technical:

  • Bachelor/Master Student in Computer Sciences, Business Information Systems (BIS) or similar
  • Profound knowledge of web programming (API, SDK)
  • Ideally, basic knowledge of Power BI
  • At the best, familiar with Microsoft Teams and MySQL
