FAQ

COMPREDICT’s Vehicle Mass Virtual Sensor is an AI- and data-driven solution that accurately estimates a vehicle’s mass without any additional physical sensor, using data already available in nearly all vehicles on the market. It can estimate vehicle mass both statically and dynamically, for passenger cars as well as light commercial vehicles.

In the static case, the Virtual Sensor estimates the vehicle’s payload while it is stationary, allowing the load to be checked before driving. In the dynamic case, it estimates the load distribution across each axle while the vehicle is in motion, with accuracy that improves over time, enabling more accurate range estimation or improved fuel efficiency.

The sensor delivers real-time estimations of both total payload and load distribution across each axle.
